Brief:

Dynamic Energy is pleased to announce the completion of the first of two ground-mounted solar projects for Hobart & William Smith Colleges in Geneva, New York. This first 2.5 MW project consists of over 7,500 solar panels and will generate more than 3,150,000 kWh of power annually, the equivalent of powering 234 New York homes each year.

The second project, a 2.8 MW system located in Seneca, New York, is expected to come online in early 2017. Generating over five megawatts of power and covering the equivalent area of 14.5 football fields, the projects will be one of the top 10 largest solar projects on college and university campuses in the United States, according to the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education.

The two systems will deliver 50% of the schools electricity needs through clean, renewable energy and will provide students with hands-on learning experiences.

This solar project participates in the NY-Sun Competitive PV Program, managed by the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA). Dynamic Energy provided full turnkey services, including development, engineering, procurement and construction.
